Our journey started in 1974, under the visionary leadership of Mr. D. D. Modi. Start from humble beginnings, by setting up an edible oil factory in Punjab, to getting listed at the Bombay Stock Exchange, all the way to becoming the largest processors of Rice Bran in India – the journey has been a momentous one. As our expertise and competence at natural oil processing grew from strength to strength over the decades, the company which started off as Anil Modi Oil Industries Limited, evolved into one of the most trusted and well-known names in the industry – Modi Naturals Limited.
1974
The company was incorporated and an edible oil factory was established in Punjab.
1985
Geographical Greenfield solvent extraction plant (unit 1) in Pilibhit U.P. IPO on Bombay Stock Exchange.
1990
Acquisition of Solvent plant (by sister concern Neha Oils Limited) in Pilibhit.
1991
Rights issue at par of Modi Naturals equity to existing shareholders.
1992
Establishment of physical refinery in Pilibhit.
2002
Merger of sister concern Neha Oils Limited with Modi Naturals.
2003
Award for ‘Highest Processor of Rice Bran in India’ by SEA of India.
2005
Establishment of oil mill in Pilibhit.
2009
Launch of Refined Rice Oil by up-gradation of refinery.
2013
Launched the cooking oil brand Oleev Active (blended).
2015
Started new consumer brands: Rizolo, Olivana Wellness (Massage Oil) & Miller Canola Oil.
2017
Raised money through preferential allotment. Launched Oleev Health & Oleev Smart.
2018
Launched PIPO & MIX’IN in ready-to-cook segment. Two new facility additions, one at Hyderabad and the other one at Sonepat.
2023
Commencement of grain-based ethanol distillery & power generation plant in Raipur, Chhatisgarh
